Friday Night Lights – Sundown vs. Abernathy Football 9-9-2011
What can you expect from the hero’s of today? The ability to write history that will inspire the hero’s of tomorrow and that could just be what we are seeing this year in Sundown….something historic. It’s impressive to say the least to watch the control the determination and the unwilling attitude to be complacent from the Roughnecks this year. There is a level of confidence that you yourself can’t help but fall victim to when those Friday night lights turn on. It’s strong enough that it makes you wish you could bottle it up and sell it.
All I gotta say right now is I am impressed.

Reflections of the past – Senior Sundown Cheerleaders for 2011
Just felt a sudden need to repost a few of my favorite girls Chaley Priest and Sarah Sanford from my Sundown Senior Session for 2011. These were images taken somewhere in April of 2011 amongst the rush of the season and for some reason just recently my memory was jogged and made me think about them all over again. So I figured I’d repost them and share with you folks out there once again.

Dustin 2011 – Meadow ISD Senior
This is Dustin a senior from 2011 out of Meadow Texas. Mom made the point to me to make something cool happen with him and his tennis racket. I had to think about that one for a second or two and then we nailed it. This guys is pretty cool as you can see for yourself.
Chaley 2011
Fun, vibrant, cheerful and down right fun to be around is my best description for you of Chaley. She had me rolling most of the session especially when I told her not to smile….that was just something she couldn’t figure out how to do…this girl was defiantly a highlight for my season. Thank you so much for choosing me to do this for you I had an absolute blast being around you and I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Meet Samantha the best girl a photographer could have as a next door neighbor. She’s a senior this year out here in Sundown for 2011 and I know she is totally ramped about her next step in life. Thanks so much guys for letting me do this for you….I truly do have some of the best clients….and neighbor a guys could ask for.

On a whim 10 minute sunset snow session in 4 degree weather…..she just looks happy and pulls it off! Notice the difference in lighting….sun is up here and then 2 minutes later the sun is down in the next shot. She was such a trooper!

Friday Night Lights 10-22-10 Sundown vs. Olton
Spencer Chance #73 in hot pursuit of Oltons QB...glad I wasn't him!
Gotta love a good ole football game especially when it’s your home town team kickin’ butt. Unfortunately this is the only full game I’ve been able to stand on the sidelines for this year here in Sundown and I have to admit I wish I could shoot more home town stuff. Enjoy the gallery folks and don’t hold back your appreciations in the form of buying something if you think something is worth having….lol.

Amy Tisdale Senior Sundown ISD 2010
