Kimberly – Senior 2012 Morton ISD
Here is our preview post for the lovely Kimberly a Senor out at Morton ISD this year. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and her mom who didn’t know when she showed up that she was going to have to work and became my voice activated light stand throughout the session. Gotta love that wind! Thank you guys so much for working with me when there are so many choices out there when picking a photographer for this special occasion.

Senior Sisters Alexis and Angelica 2012
This was a cool session where both sister are seniors this year with Alexis graduating from Highschool and Angelica finishing up with College this year. We actually had to do this on two separate days because of the wind blowing us out…imagine that! It all workout for the best though because without that wind blowing out our first session we wouldn’t have taken the cool shots we did on the second attempt. It was a pleasure working with these young ladies in creating these special and unique images just for them in their senior year.

Evan – Levelland ISD Senior 2012
This is the second time I photographed a Ried and I have to say they seem to get better and more fun each time I do. Evans a simple teenage guy with one thing on his mind….his bike! He couldn’t care about any other shots we could come up with unless it had his bike in it. Of course we did a few shots for good Ole’ Dad too but the one that mattered most for Evan was the one with his bike. It was really a blessing and I don’t say that lightly either….we had no sun at all just clouds everywhere and we just kinda sat and hoped the sun would break even if just briefly. It did break though the clouds…and briefly doesn’t even cover it and in fact I think I only got off about 6-8 shots and it was gone again. Evans dad Harley said to me right before…”All we want is just that one shot and we’ll be happy”. I hope you guys are happy!

Morgan Riley – Senior 2012 Levelland ISD
This session was kinda special to me. I’ve been taking pictures of Morgan since she was a Sophomore and now to see her in her last year of Highschool….well it’s an eye opener and a little sad. Never the less this is a great time in her life and just a simple step to the next great things life has in store for her. I took a little extra time on this session because I fell into some new technics and software that basically made me want to completely start over on my editing….and that’s what I did. I love black and white….but I don’t usually dominate my favorites on the blog with them but that’s how this one ended up. So enjoy these previews from Morgans session and a few of her sister along with her….they were nutz! This was a fun session with out a doubt and don’t let the images fool you…Morgan is a nut and isn’t all as serious as she looks.

Spencer Chance Senior Sundown ISD 2012
Spencer. Do you know Spencer? If you don’t…you should. He’s the guy that if you need a hand…he’ll give you one without asking for a thank you. He’s the guy that will try to encourage you when your down or at least let you know he’s there to listen. Are you a friend to Spencer? You should want to be and if you get the privilege one day to be…consider yourself lucky. He’s that kinda guy that is hard to find today especially at this age. He’s real…he’s true and he know’s what’s up.
Hat’s off to you Spencer. I can’t wait to see what you can do.
Gonzales Family
Here is a sweet little post for the Gonzales family from a cold grey day over the holidays. We still had a ton of fun doing it though!

Hockley County Junior Stock HOG Show 2012 at The Mallet Event Center
Holycow!!!! I mean PIG….lol. Wow what a day. The conclusion of the second day of Hockley County’s Junior Stock Show has come and gone….and I need a bath! I have to say that even as hard as it was to try and get a good shot of every single Exhibitor I think I was about 95% successful I had a blast hanging out with these folks…but if I did miss someone I am truly sorry.
Anyway I’ll cut to the chase and show you a few preview here in this post for reference but if you just have to jump to the gallery right away here is the link: http://sconwayphotos.zenfolio.com/f963336186

Levelland FFA Chapter Stock Show 1-17-2012 at The Mallet Event Center
Well this was kinda funny for me. I got my days all mixed up setting up early for the County show coming up on the 18th and 19th. I wasn’t supposed to be here for the Chapter show but since I already had my stuff set up I figured I’d use this as a test bed for my set up. Now of course when the kiddy wranglers hit the floor it made me not want to leave…..they are my favorite part of the show.
Keep me in mind for future events and coverage if you like my work…I shoot just about anything.
The gallery with a little over 300 images is here for this evenings events: http://sconwayphotos.zenfolio.com/p535084793

Rachel Sepada – Quincey 2012
I really have gotten to where I love doing these. They really feel like I’m practicing for weddings and some times they even surpass a weddings themselves. Rachel’s Quincey was fantastic in every way you could imagine be it with her family all around her, the fantastic decor they came up with and not to leave out the incredible dress. It was a privilege to be a a part of it and an honor to record it.
