Karleigh Sheyenne Porterfield 2011
I have to admit in preparation for this shoot I was a bit worried that sweet quiet little Karleigh wouldn’t be able to handle the attention she was about to receive by being the focal point for this photo shoot.

This was an absolute pleasure to be a part of with this family and you just know when ever someone prepares for something like they did with the efforts they put forth….you are going to catch a few stellar moments. Karleigh is a pure country girl true and through and we did our best to show this fact in these images. Thank you so much ladies for letting me be a part of this special shoot. It was an honor and a memory that will remain with me forever.

This was a last minute shoot with zero prep that I somehow pulled off today at Butch’s Rat Hole Services in Levelland Texas. Thanks a ton to Scott for helping me get things moved around and rounding up some of his crew for these shots. I really appreciate the help. I’m not sure if this is what everyone wanted but it’s what I got…
Lunch Time at Amore Mia in Levelland Texas…on assignment
Think back to one of those meals you have in the past…you know the one…where when you think about it you taste it all over again! I had one of those today…the chicken roll at Amore Mia. Shredded chicken mixed together with spinach tomatoes crab meat and a whole truck load of flavor rolled all into a single ball of “Holy Cow!” If you haven’t been to Amore Mia…go. If you have been and have not tried the chicken roll….go back! It’s so good that I’m not using a tooth pick to get rid of the little piece in my teeth…I want it to be there forever!

Renegade Services Levelland Texas 2011
Here is the first of two commercial projects I had to tackle today with Renegade Service in Levelland….loved the fact that my original deadline got bumped up and I had to find a location set up and shoot inside of 3 hours. Thanks to Matt Gray and Jerry Corgill for putting up with me and helping me make the shot happen.

Lubbock Names and Numbers Phone Book Cover 2011
I’m not putting this up to brag or boast about it I’m just putting this up because I’m very proud to have been chosen to have one of my images on the cover of the new upcoming 2011 Names and Numbers phone book. I was shocked when the Names and Numbers Phone Book asked me to submit images a few months ago, and I am now simply amazed to have actually been chosen. Just think about how cool it is to be the High School Senior in the picture, and the fact that her beautiful face will grace the cover of approx. 500k phone books in the very near future.

Nightmare on 19th Street Lubbock Texas Haunted Park Billboard
Well the billboard is back up again so I figured I’d repost this to plug myself and the park once again.

Well this was an undertaking to say the least. Coming from an idea brought to life in the living room of the owners home in Austin we had to come up with something cool and fitting with the Haunted Park but at the same time put something up that wouldn’t get them hate mail from folks in Lubbock. This was my vision of innocence out numbered. Thanks to all who were involved to pull this off it was awesome to work with each and everyone of you folks.

It’s a cool little pet shop with a mini exotic zoo in it. We had the fortune today of seeing a pair of baby 3 week old Marmoset monkeys…..just about the neatest thing I’ve seen.
