Sundown Pump Jack Wooden Bat Classic 2013
A little action from a night game the other night in Sundown Texas. It’s a great event with a great history of great teams that have participated so far in it’s short existence of 3 years. My favorite thing about it is the wooden bat requirement….which is really cool if one breaks in front of your camera. Night games are always difficult with Baseball as you are forced as a photographer to use only available light and getting that good stop action crispy is a little hard in the dark. Levelland Line Drive 9yr Olds 2012
Well this is a catch up post seeing as I forgot to post this on the blog. We have one hard core team here…just look at them! I truly appreciate being asked to capture these image for the team and I hope you guys will cherish them for years to come….even after they all sign their Pro-ball contracts!

Collin – Senior Levelland Texas 2012
I’ll give you 3 guesses as to what Collin likes to do and the first two are wrong….lol! Collin is a Senior for 2012 at Levelland ISD and loves baseball and in fact plays it just about year around. I’ve know this kid since he was a little guy no taller than a bat and it’s really cool seeing him all grown up ready to take on the next stage of life.

Levelland 10yr Old Allstars Baseball Team Photos 2011

MHS Bulldogs vs. Amarillo in Lubbock Tx 5-14-2011 for the MRT
It’s amazing when you put your mind to it what you can accomplish in 20 minutes on the side line of a baseball field. Here are a few highlights from coverage I was asked to do for the Midland Reporter Telegram.

I tried something different with them leaning against the dug-out wall and I personally don’t like it so I will let those who want it have remakes and reprint the orders if desired.
Sundown ISD…Busy Night for Track & Field & Baseball 3-4-2011

Well it was my turn to cook dinner this night so I opted for hot dogs and the Sundown Roughnecks Baseball games. Turns out Sundown also had a busy night with Track and Field events at the stadium so I ended up over there as well by the end of the night. I might add Track and Field is a difficult thing to shoot at night….just saying. State Baseball Tourney Littlefield TX Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth 15yr Olds
Congrats to North Plains for their State Title victory!
Baseball has once again hit my schedule via the State Tourney in Littlefield for the Babe Ruth/ Cal Ripken 15yr Olds. Unfortunately I am not able to devote the hours of editing I usually put in to a sporting event to weed through the missed shots and junk repetition shots prior to uploading them for the gallery. I just have too much on my plate right now to do much editing so I am posting the galleries up with camera raw images. Fortunately in the checkout system you can crop all of the images you desire to purchase so you can’t really focus in on those points of interest.

Cal Ripken State Tourney 10yr Olds – Canyon Tx – by Brent Rose
I wasn’t able to make the State Tournament in Canyon for the 10yr olds for all of the State games going on here at home. However, Brent Rose was able to capture a little action while he watched his son play in the tournament.
This coverage is from the Levelland vs. Canyon game on 7-19-09 the gallery his straight out of his camera with no editing to the photographs as of yet. Once an order has been placed I will edit all photos on the order before fulfilling the order. So if something looks like it can look better….it will!

2009 13yr Old Babe Ruth State Tourney-Host Levelland TX
Levelland Texas has the fortune to host the 13yr old State Tournament for Babe Ruth in 2009. Teams from across the state are here in a bid and battle for the state title and the trip to regional tournament afterward.
I will do my best to cover every team and player that steps on to the field. I have no bias. I only want to see some great action so that I can attempt to capture that action in a permanent photographic memory for any that may want something like that. That is in fact the primary reason I am where I am now with photography. I wanted the shots that no one could give me so I took it upon myself to equip and educate myself with years of experience to enable me to capture those precious once in a life time shots that most of us have had to only watch and hope to remember later.
So first off congratulations to all of the teams that have made it this far! You did a lot just to get to state! No matter where your team ends up in the standings just being here is something to be proud of with out question. I ask of you only one thing. Take a look at the galleries after the games and if you see a few shots you deem worthy enough to want then by all means snatch them up.

Let other parents know about the coverage that may not be able to attend the games. Spread the word folks…please. These are your kids playing in the state tournament I only hope you can take a hold of what that really means and if it will ever happen again for some of the players.

Lubbock Names and Numbers Phone Book Cover 2011
I’m not putting this up to brag or boast about it I’m just putting this up because I’m very proud to have been chosen to have one of my images on the cover of the new upcoming 2011 Names and Numbers phone book. I was shocked when the Names and Numbers Phone Book asked me to submit images a few months ago, and I am now simply amazed to have actually been chosen. Just think about how cool it is to be the High School Senior in the picture, and the fact that her beautiful face will grace the cover of approx. 500k phone books in the very near future.
