Here is our preview post for the lovely Kimberly a Senor out at Morton ISD this year. It was an absolute pleasure working with her and her mom who didn’t know when she showed up that she was going to have to work and became my voice activated light stand throughout the session. Gotta love that wind! Thank you guys so much for working with me when there are so many choices out there when picking a photographer for this special occasion.

Senior Sisters Alexis and Angelica 2012
This was a cool session where both sister are seniors this year with Alexis graduating from Highschool and Angelica finishing up with College this year. We actually had to do this on two separate days because of the wind blowing us out…imagine that! It all workout for the best though because without that wind blowing out our first session we wouldn’t have taken the cool shots we did on the second attempt. It was a pleasure working with these young ladies in creating these special and unique images just for them in their senior year.

Evan – Levelland ISD Senior 2012
This is the second time I photographed a Ried and I have to say they seem to get better and more fun each time I do. Evans a simple teenage guy with one thing on his mind….his bike! He couldn’t care about any other shots we could come up with unless it had his bike in it. Of course we did a few shots for good Ole’ Dad too but the one that mattered most for Evan was the one with his bike. It was really a blessing and I don’t say that lightly either….we had no sun at all just clouds everywhere and we just kinda sat and hoped the sun would break even if just briefly. It did break though the clouds…and briefly doesn’t even cover it and in fact I think I only got off about 6-8 shots and it was gone again. Evans dad Harley said to me right before…”All we want is just that one shot and we’ll be happy”. I hope you guys are happy!

Justin – Plains ISD Senior 2012
Here is our post for Justin a Senior for 2012 out of Plains ISD. The best thing about this session was the fact that he’s a guy…the wind was howling but that doesn’t matter to guys! To say the least the session with Justin was an adventure in many ways and we ended up driving just about everywhere trying to find the cool spots to shoot at in Plains Tx. Congrats on your journey’s conclusion Justin and the beginning of the next chapter of your life. It was great meeting you guys!

Kelsey – Senior 2012 – Idalou ISD
I’d like you to meet a wonderful sweet and beautiful girl from Idalou. We had a such a great session together and had so many awesome images produced…would have had even more if it hadn’t been for the wind. I don’t know a whole lot about Kelsey other than she can DANCE….but I know that if I had to pick one favorite thing about her I couldn’t do it …I’d have two! Her smile and her eyes!

Authumn – Senior 2012 Sundown ISD
She’s funny…fun…high spirited and beautiful! That’s just what you get after being around Authumn for like 5 minutes. I had a lot of favorites from this session and I could show them all to you in the wonderful colors we produced them in but I’m kinda stuck lately on a black and white preference. These highlights from Authumn’s session just to me can’t be done as well in color as they are in black and white. Needless to say I had a lot of fun taking these images and I’m thrilled with some of the finished products. Thank you Authumn for letting me do this once in a life time thing for you….it was my pleasure!

Brock and Meagan 2012
This is another one of those fantastic Texas windy day session where the lightest breeze was somewhere around 30 mph….but hey…what are you going to do?!? We still had fun despite the weather…it was like a treasure hunt trying to find the spot where the wind wasn’t blowing as hard…lol. These two kids were great and the best thing of it all is just looking at them….you can see it. They are in love 100% Now lets not leave out good ole’ Riddick…..man what a ham! This session kinda took me back a few years when my wife and I did our engagement session with our now 13 year old puppy Paintball…ahh the good ole’ days!
Enjoy the previews of their session.
Morgan Riley – Senior 2012 Levelland ISD
This session was kinda special to me. I’ve been taking pictures of Morgan since she was a Sophomore and now to see her in her last year of Highschool….well it’s an eye opener and a little sad. Never the less this is a great time in her life and just a simple step to the next great things life has in store for her. I took a little extra time on this session because I fell into some new technics and software that basically made me want to completely start over on my editing….and that’s what I did. I love black and white….but I don’t usually dominate my favorites on the blog with them but that’s how this one ended up. So enjoy these previews from Morgans session and a few of her sister along with her….they were nutz! This was a fun session with out a doubt and don’t let the images fool you…Morgan is a nut and isn’t all as serious as she looks.

Chelsey Means – Senior 2012 Ropes ISD
What do you do when you have a beautiful girl with beautiful long hair on one of the windiest days ever? You run inside and find some relief some where. Of course Chelsey obviously made my job easy and even though we had so many plans for out doorsey stuff it all worked out in the end. She was a blast to be around and really fun when you put the camera in her face. I just hope we get a second chance when things turn green to do some more fun stuff in the future.
Thanks Chelsey for being such a trooper with the wind and pulling all the right looks off when we needed them….you rock!

Rachel Sepada – Quincey 2012
I really have gotten to where I love doing these. They really feel like I’m practicing for weddings and some times they even surpass a weddings themselves. Rachel’s Quincey was fantastic in every way you could imagine be it with her family all around her, the fantastic decor they came up with and not to leave out the incredible dress. It was a privilege to be a a part of it and an honor to record it.
